No Government Fixes Life, You Fix Life With God's Word - Archbishop Osa-Oni | Independent Newspaper Nigeria

LAGOS - The Presiding Archbishop of Vineyard Christian Ministries, Isolo, Lagos, Archbishop John Adebayo Osa-Oni, has called on Nigerians to learn to speak the right thing with the right word.

He said, "You are what you speak, and what you are hearing. What you are hearing will define your destination."

Archbishop Osa-Oni made this known on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 during the first day of the church's annual Word Conference, held at the church auditorium in Lagos.

He said, better days are ahead, because God's word and promises are attainable every time, assuring that Nigeria is going to get better, "But we must believe in ourselves and the word of God to see a better Nigeria."

Admonishing Nigerians, Osa-Oni said, "No government can fix your life, you are to fix your life with the word of God, and develop faith in yourself.

"There is hope for the living. When you have faith in God's word, the government will look for you because it is not by accident that God brought you to this land, Nigeria. It is going to be a beautiful place."

He clarified that for years, he has not stopped speaking positively about Nigeria, and that the country is better now than before.

Speaking on the conference that ends on Sunday, December 12, 2025 with thanksgiving, Archbishop Osa-Oni said, the central focus of the Word Conference 2025 is to bring restoration to Nigerians at this moment, help people to navigate the mind of God, and teach them to speak the right thing.

"The word navigates and transforms the earth, and the more you hear the word, the more you become alive because the word transforms, changes, and refocuses the mind.

"When you speak the right word, you will see manifestation of the right things," he said.

"People would see their lives change for the better when they come to the knowledge and power of God's word that transforms.
