Woman in her 30s died after falling from Durdle Door cliffs
Dorset Echo
Richard Middleton, assistant coroner for Dorset, held an inquest into the death of 36-year-old Petya Dobromirova Rabrova at Dorset Coroner's Court on December 8.
The court heard that Ms Rabrova was single, a receptionist and residing in London at the time of her death.
In the afternoon of June 19, emergency services were called to Durdle Door after Ms Rabrova had fallen from a cliff.
Christina Bell, a GP from West Hampstead Medical Centre, said that Ms Rabrova had been sharing her concerns surrounding a 'foul' smell that no one else could seem to smell.
It was added that she had an 'obsession' with fumes and smells, repeating that her home had been poisoned and she was worried for her family's health.
After speaking with medical professionals, the concept of hallucinations was put to Ms Rabrova, but she did not accept this.
An MRI was undertaken on her brain to investigate her concerns and symptoms further; however, there were no abnormalities found.
She was assessed in early June 2025 and it was found that there seemed to be no identifiable triggers or pressures, but she believed she was being poisoned.
Ms Rabrova denied hearing voices and having a low mood, with professionals adding that she was 'eager' to get back to work.
It was added that she was 'hopeful' to start her own family in the future and 'willing' to engage in mental health services.
The court heard that Ms Rabrova had told her father that she had lost documents in the area and asked to be taken to Durdle Door on June 19.
This turned out to be a lie and police believe that she jumped off the cliff.
Rod Morton was at Durdle Door that day and had witnessed an 'object' fall from the cliffs, unsure of what it was.
David Gurr, who was paddleboarding at the time, was another witness. He had heard a loud noise and assumed part of the cliff had fallen.
Both men rushed to Ms Rabrova and performed chest compressions until paramedics arrived.
Emergency services arrived on scene at around 1:30pm an
