New Look customers are snapping up a heavily discounted puffer coat. Originally priced at £74.99, the coat has been slashed by 47% and is now on offer for £40.

With the weather turning colder and wetter, a warm coat is essential for the winter months. The longline coat comes in four shades - black, cream, khaki green and burgundy - featuring light padding and a removable faux-fur trim around the hood. The coat has a regular fit and fastens with both buttons and a zip.

On the New Look website, the product description states: "This black puffer jacket features light padding and a fur trim to keep you extra warm. The gold studs and zip add a stylish touch."

Customers who purchased the New Look coat all praised the same feature about the hood, with one buyer commenting: "Lovely warm, long coat. Bought my usual size and is spacious enough to fit a warm jumper underneath and not feel restricted.

"Wore in the rain and kept me nice and dry. Nice size hood, stayed up, and could see under the fur trim", reports the Liverpool Echo.

Another customer remarked: "Fab coat, this is my second time buying a variation of this style. It lasts well, Hood covers well, I usually find a lot of jackets like this the hood doesn't stay up. Cozy and warm as well."

A third review stated: "Great fit and lovely and warm. Especially like the hood, my head is small and most hoods drown me but this is perfect. Also love the fact the fur trim can be removed."

However, not every shopper was won over by the coat, as one two-star review explained: "This is a really bulky coat, more thick than other puffer coats I've tried, and the bulk made it quite uncomfortable so I had to return. It was on the smaller side for size too. Also the metal zip was a bit catchy. Not for me, I can find better elsewhere."
