Manchester United Under-18s celebrated a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Carrington on Saturday, with Jacey Carrick, the son of former United midfielder Michael Carrick, making his debut at this level. The left-footed midfielder, who has previously been involved with the England Under-15 team, is highly regarded within the United academy.
Jacey had previously played alongside Kai Rooney for United's Under-16s in the SuperCupNI, a prestigious youth tournament in Northern Ireland. He has continued to progress this season, having already won national titles at Under-14 and Under-15 levels, playing a pivotal role in both victories.
