The event gains special attention as the panel includes Maria Karytianou, President of the Association of Tempi Victims, Christos Rammos, former President of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority and Honorary Vice President of the Supreme Court, and Nikolas Farantouris, MEP and Professor of European Law, coordinator of the Constitutional Affairs Committee of the European Parliament.

The event aims to highlight the primacy of EU law over provisions like Article 86, often invoked by state officials to block investigations and accountability in corruption cases. Nikolas Farantouris stated:
