Brigadier General Jamal Al-Shamiri, Director of the Al-Hamadi Martyr Institute, stated that the institute is a key military academy. It provides Armed Forces personnel with the advanced knowledge and combat skills needed for the national battle against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist organization.
He explained that the institute runs specialized courses to train leaders in all military sciences. This includes the first course for battalion commanders. These programs are part of the official training plan set by the Ministry of Defense and General Staff to achieve the highest professionalism.
Central Role in Training
The institute opened at the start of the 2025 training year.It was previously a training center for the Taiz Axis since 2022. Its main task is to train and qualify military leaders from across the Ministry of Defense. The first course includes officers from the Taiz, Al-Dhale', Al-Hudaidah, Tur Albaha, Murais, and Western Coast axes.
