Boxing gym collects children's presents for Christmas - South Leeds Life

Local boxing gym Golden Team are partnering Shane and Wilson of 'Two Cracked Eggs' podcast fame to provide toys for South Leeds children who might otherwise go without.

"It's harsh when Santa doesn't visit," said Golden Team chief coach Padraic McDonagh. "This is a hyper-local initiative to give a bit of help to people who are struggling. All donations will go directly toward purchasing toys and gifts so that every child we reach can experience the joy of opening something special on Christmas morning. Generosity can help brighten a family's holiday and remind them that their community cares. Thank you in advance for helping us make a difference this Christmas season!"

Those wanting to support Golden Team can drop off donations of brand new toys at the gym located at 36 Whitehouse Street LS10 1AD or via JustGiving: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/nicola-aldred-2?utm_medium=CF&utm_source=WA. The toys will be distributed by invitation to the gym next weekend 13 and 14 December.
